<_< well guys i can get a great deal on a 91 bronco with a extremely solid body for a wisconsin truck. The only problem is that i really like the style of the 92"s. I really like the nice plastic merrors and the newer headlights. so i am wondering if i get doors off of a 92 or newer will they fit on the 1990 which means i will have those merrors i will just not have any electric merrors unless it just so happened to be that he plugs on the wires are the same. also do the headlights and grille in the 92 bolt up to to a 90 or do you have to change the whole damn saddle and everything. maybe it is a stupid idea but i figured i would see what you guys have to say

Thats done A LOT, you need new fenders and core support for 92+ and you dont need new doors lmc truck sells the "sport mirrors" and i believe bronco graveyard does too. Any decent body shop should be able to put them on/ fill in the old holes on the truck...

you can change everything over but you have to do some work, yes just buy the sport mirrors from www.broncograveyard.com and save your doors, no you wont have power mirrors, but its the look that counts. Also so you need an entire front end off the 92+ year trucks, fenderd, hood, bumper, grll, light assemblys etc. I also have heard that the fenders do not munt up to the stock mounts, so you have to fab soemthing to hold them in place, but from what i hear its easy

I have done this conversion twice everything is a direct bolt on except the bumper . EVERYTHING else bolts on fenders , hood , core support all the little brackets are needed from the 92 and up for the fender to core support and the headlight braces . You also need to change the valance panel between the windshield and the hood because its a different shape , Making mounts for the bumper is easy just 3 x 3 angle the width of the frame rail welded on will be almost like the 92 and up factory now heres the thing that most dont know or just dont talk about the headlights when you plug your harness into the new bulbs ( no you cant use your old ones there keyed different and wont fit in the housing ) and yes they will plug right in your lights will be dim and your highbeam light will be on dimely no matter what you have on . This took me a minute to figure out in the dark ofcoarse , The disgruntled engineers at ford decided to pin the damn bulb out different one of them has the common or ground on the middle pin and the other has it to the outside of the 3 pins I dont remember at this time which was which but you can easily figure it out by looking at the colors of the wire . To change this you take the red insert out of the end of the harness plug and then theres a little clip in there that releases the wire terminal when pryed up slightly once out you can swap the 2 wires around and youll be all set . I like the looks of the 92 and up much better than the 87 thru 91 . The tubs are all the same from 87 thru 96 same as the F150 cabs ( main metal body not interior ) are all the same from 1980 to 1996 . Ford was pretty good about that . The mirror issue will be in need of body work if you are to attempt to put the newer sport mirrors on the doors that had the hoop mirrors there not just held on by 2 screws theres a bracket off the end of it that attaches in the door through a big hole behind where the mirror sets . I would just get the newer doors if you really want those mirrors it will be cheaper than the body work involved . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
