Any ideas on how to stop an air leak around a crack bolt hole on the upper intake manifold plenum. I've tried red silicone and quicksteel and neither worked. If not, can anyone recommend a place I could get a new or used one for my 92 351 Bronco? TIA, Bill.

I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong but the upper intake manifold off of a 302 will work with the 351w. Other than that, try a local salvage yard or get a new intake like and edlebrock or something of the sort.

Bill,

I've always been a fan of JB Weld. For something like what you describe I'd cleanup & groove the crack with a dremel & work some JB Weld into it. I've also seen a crack like that repaired with solder & flux. Can't say as I've ever *done* it myself but I watched a friend fix one that way up in the White Mountains, the repair held until he sold the truck a couple years later.

Never noticed that part but I've only delt with the 351 and it as a bad assumption... my bad, thanks for the correction...
