I am looking at stripping the parts offof this bronco and going down to the frame. Is this frame gonna be useable? Anyone done this before? i'd like to go down to the frame and start a build from the frame up... any thoughts.

A frame up is a very good way to go then you personally know every system in your truck . Once stripped lok it over very good for cracks or rot ( Ive only ever seen a few rotted and I live in MI ) If its all good find someone to sandblast it then spray etchlock primer on it heavy and chassis black paint then your set to go from there . All I have done that too still havent rusted . Have fun with your project and take lots of pics . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Thanks man. That's what I wanted to hear. I figure if I do get to the bottom and it's shot at least I got to take one apart...

I agree, I did a "Frame-Up" restore on my 84 Bronco last year. That's stripping everything down to the frame, but not completely removing the body.If you're going to that length, seriously consider the SAS and a motor swap. you don't have to go back to stock!! JSM84
