Is there gas in the tank?

Your truck has two pumps. A low pressure pump in the tank, which supplies gas to a high pressure pump that is under the truck beside the driver's side frame rail.

There is also a fuel filter that may be clogged, and a fuel pressure regulator that is in the engine compartment

you should be able to hear each of the two pumps running when you first turn the key on.

You may also force them to run continuously so that you can test them.

Get a 4 inch jumper wire (I put cute little connectors from Radio Shack on mine)

Then locate the self test plug (near the driver's side fender inside the engine compartment) and put the jumper wire between the "fuel pump test" and the "Signal Return ... ground"

Then listen to both of the pumps to make sure they are BOTH pumping.

hope this helps
