88 bronco 2 no start

i have an 88 bronco 2 i parkes it about 2 months ago beacuse it needed valve cover gaskets and alternator. so i just got arround to replace the needed parts. now no start it appears i have no spare comming from the coil any help

Gonna need a bit more info.

Does the motor spin/crank when you turn the key..?

What did you do to determine there's no spark at the coil..??

Two sentences just won't be enough.....

The motor turns over and yes pulled the wire from coil to cap and put a spark tester in the wire grounded the tester out and cranked the motor no spark from the tester

What's the best way to test for voltage at coil I do have a professional test light but not sure what wires to probe

A test light may light up but you really need a volt meter. (borrow a neighbors)

Turn key to the "run" position.  Test voltage at the + post on the coil.

Turn the key to "start" ..., have someone read the voltage during cranking.

Still don't know what ignition you have..?

4V doesn't sound right.  Should be up around 12V

Bad battery..?  Dragging starter..?
