8 tracks

has anyone ever had an early bronco with an 8 track? What make is it?

I would like to go back to a close to original 8 track but not sure what would

be correct for my 1974 sport.

In '74, the option lists only AM radio even on sport and ranger packages according to the literature i have

AM or no radio would be the only factory options, an 8 track could have been dealer installed or by P.O.

Mine had an 8 track in it, but I welded up the huge hole and cut it for a CD player.

Tom's Br parts has the factory, stock/used radio.

They call it out as AM/FM ...part #0996 $125--$250... /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

To me., it appears to be an AM only

my 1970 had an aftermarket realistic(radio shack) 8 track installed on bottom lip of the dash under the radio. The only 8-track I had for it was deep purple! got pretty sick of that after a while. not sure when it was added to the bronco. might be able to find one at fleamarket or ebay?
