8.8 - 9"

I have a 94 Eddie Bauer with the 8.8 in the back. Is there a way to put the speed sensor in the transmission or somewhere other than the diff? I can pick up a 9" for the same price and I would rather have that than the 8.8. Thanks for any help

There is a company in california that make a relocation kit for the vss, it is a new output ****** on the tcase that is notched to provide the proper speed signal to the PCM. I have to in my files and will send you a number to contact them tommorrow
