bronco2.jpginside1.jpgI am still making a little progress on the bronco mud buggy. Here are a couple pics of what my son and I have done to date. The hard top has a lot of rust, but this is going to be a hunting, fishing, and mudding machine. Not to worried about trying to do a complete restore on this one. You can click here to see more of the progress. Davids Bronco

I have not heard of POR-15. I take it that this is a super good pre-treatment for the fresh steel. I will go to their site and have a look. Thank you very much for the information. I just put the hood on it tonight, but I ran into a small charging problem. I don't know what I did, but I don't seem to be able to get the old beast to charge. I am going to go back with a fresh look on Thrusday when I get off and see if I can figure it out. Oh, I have to tell on myself. I was so excited about getting the hood on the bronco, that I decided to run up the road and pump a little gas in the tank. I forgot one little item however. I stuck the rear bumper on the back just to see what it was going to look like....with no bolts.....Guess what fell of the back of the bronco on the way back from the gas station....Oh well, all in the life of a bronco. I stopped, picked it up, and kept on getting it.

Thanks guys. I will keep you posted.

David

Yep, how do you like those seats.....They came out of a Ford Probe. My neighbor has three of these sitting next to my shop. I have two more sets if I need them. I thought about getting some type of water resistant slip covers to go over them.

fronthood.jpgwithhood2.jpgwithhood.jpgsizecompare.jpgI got the hood on yesterday. I will work on the doors, windshield, and lights on Thursday and Friday. Boy, the closer this ole buggy gets, the better I like it.
