Just to let ya all know... Sand Lake was a blast! Being Friday now I am just starting to feel normal again.

There were around 250 Broncos that attened this year. The place was a mad house!

Every year all the Broncos are getting more and more bad ass.

Its amazing to see all the different modifications people have done to their rigs.

When we arrived Thursday night around 2:00am our friends were up parting and wanted to go for a night rally. I was setting up camp so I stayed behind. They took off over the dunes at 80 mph and ended up hitting a sand dune in their drunkeness, flew through the air landing on the right side and rolled twice. They were all semi OK after racking their heads of the cage. They walked back to camp and let us know the details. By this time rangers were on the sene so we stayed back and left the truck for the night. No need for DUI's... In the morning we went to get his rig and found someone stole his bad ass stereo system. Talk about kicking a man while he's down! Had to be one of those quad runners!

All 4 tires were off the bead, the steering was tacoed, every body panel wasted, roll cage slightly bent but the race motor was still good. We got the tires aired up and straightened the steering and he was off to rally some more.

The rest of the weekend was mostly having fun on the beach, dunes and trails with beers in hand! :p

Thats what happens when you are careless, go drink and drive at night. He is lucky that he didnt **** someone. Its people like him that give us (off roaders) a bad rap. If you ask me he got everything he deserved by having his stuff stolen. I know its harsh but every year someone leaves that place in a body bag or the meat wagon for being stupid and careless. I do hope everyone in the Bronco is ok and hopefully will think twice about tearing up the dunes after a few beers.
