My rig did not have a heater when bought, finally decided to remedy. Looked at aftermarket heaters and the cost was a bit much! Went down to pick a part and found a heater box, heater core and fan motor out of a 67ish-70ish ford full size ranger(took the full unit and mechanical controls. Got it home and mocked it up and low and behold it fit with one hole drilled in the fire wall all other factory holes fit. the benefit is the square housing from heater too interior panel(minor modification) gives you fresh air vent with out heat (nice huh). I just thought any body who needs this might like a cheap mod/replacement, I like too offroad on the cheap. Good Luck

Adding cost, heater box with core and fan and mech controls(50 plus heater tubing autozone and 4 clamps 15) 65 bucks and I have heat. I was lucky the heater core did not leak and the fan spins and the mechanical ball valve was good. Your junk yard experience might be different. also the defroster tubes( I did not use) would fit up nice too....my dash is too cut up and defroster vents are gone but I can let the heat vent upwards a little with a flip of a cable control!!
