I have a 1986 Bronco with 33 12.50 Super Swampers on it

With the wheel cut all the way they rub the radius arms a little.

Im just wondering how big of a problem this is,

and if it will ***** anything up. Any help?

No, you won't hurt anything it's really more of an annoyance than anything else. You can ease or eliminate the problem (depending on just how badly they're rubbing & since 33's generally fit without problems I'm guessing they aren't hitting the arms by very much) by switching to a rim with better backspacing. Most rims have the center section (the part that actually bolts to the axle) dead center Changing the backspacing changes where that section is located. By moving it closer to the inboard side of the rim you effectively move the tire further away from the center of the axle and gain clearance for exactly this sort of thing. Stop by your local 4x4 or tire & rim shop and speak w/them about it. You might be tempted to use spacers (also know as wheel adapters because they can serve either function) but I would strong discourage going that way. Spacers take a whole lot of stress just driving around town and they're prone to breaking, if you like to play off-road you're just asking for trouble. Seeing one of your own tires roll past you on the highway will ruin your day right quick. Most guys just learn to take slightly wider turns and are done with it, if you're in the market for some rims *anyways* then look into the backspacing deal and fix it that way.

Actually, more backspacing would intensify the problem. As you move the tire out, it makes the tire swing backwards further when cutting the wheel. I know it is difficult to understand without seeing it, but it will make the problem worse. As long as it doesn't do it at high speeds, you should be fine. I have driven multiple long travel desert Broncos, and just bought a 93 to build myself. It is more annoying than anything. Stay away from the hairpin turns.
