3 on the tree to floor shifter

I just bought my dream truck! a 1973 ford bronco. only downside is it has a three on the tree tranny. Ive got a few questions. first does anyone have suggestions for how i should go about the switch? and also im looking to get a beefier tranny since im dropping in a boss 302 engine in a couple days. any and all links and info will help. thanks.

The shifter is easy & cheap..., the rest, however, is quite pricey.
