Nope, its too cold now so the paint will have to wait for summer. Got the lift done though. Moved onto other projects in the meantime, just swapped out the old lights to new LED's in my garage this week.

You made any progress on your bronco?
Hey buddy, is this pic with the 2” lift installed? Any chance I can get another angle to get a better visual? Thinking of the same lift on mine. Thanks in advance.

As it sits in the photo i put a 2" "leveling kit" on it. Blocks under front and rear springs basically, and a 2" body lift.

Took a lot of drilling and grinding and misc fabbing to get the bumpers and tow hitch up to look decent after the body lift but it was doable without any extra expense.

Going from the 31" tires that were on it when i started working on it to the 35's its sitting on now raised the rig another 2". So, bumper height on my rig is 6" above stock in the photo.

Glad to take pics at whatever angle you like.

Hey buddy. Thanks for the info. If you could take a side shot and then one from a rear three-quarter angle that be awesome. I’m thinking about doing a 2 inch lift, but really just for aesthetics. Thanks again.

4" with 35's.

2" suspension plus 2" body. Cost a total of $180 for the parts and some knuckles dealing with the rusty hardware. I have not yet bought the new shocks for the extra 2" height and all my shocks are currently blown so it needs new ones anyway.

But as is in the photos, it’s only currently 2” higher than stock? The shocks will later make it the full 4”?

Here’s mine now with 32” tires. I’m trying to determine if a 2” lift will look perfect. I want a lifted look, but not too high.

No. Shocks will never add height, just improve ride. As it sits now, the door handles are 6" further off the ground than stock.

The 2" body lift raised the whole truck 2"....
The 2" suspension lift added another 2"....
Switching from 31" tires to 35" tires raised the truck an additional 2"

For a total of 6" above stock

A 2" lift on yours without changing tires will give you another 2" of room between the tops of your tires to the wheel well.

Itll look better for sure, but wont really look "lifted" if thats what youre after

Yeah. I’m just going for asthetics, so don’t need functionality for any reason life hunting or anything. So a 2” lift will not due. I’ll look into a 4”.

Thanks again for the pics and info!

How’s the Bondo over the body trim holes holding up? I’m still contemplating the same on mine once the weather warms up and can start doing some exterior work before paint.

And I got a $1500 quote to lift it 2”. I need to do it myself like you did. You said the parts were under $200? That’s awesome.

Yeah, $90 on ebay for the 2" suspension "leveling" kit and $90 from summit racing for the 2" body lift kit.

I already had all the tools and jacks and a healthy hardware supply so didnt have to fork out any additional $$$ for doing it myself.

The bondo is great so far. Ill wait for summer weather and less humidity to do what little is left and get the bedliner sprayed. You can make bondo invisible in a paint job if youre good. I didnt put in too much effort with the block sanding. I did it just well enough to not be seen with the texturized rubber bedliner that im painting the whole truck with. Didnt see the point in doing show quality body work for that loke other cars ive played with.
