Thanks everyone I found the problem it was a wire in the harness down by the kick panel. Thanks again.

I used the wiring in the new door, and both locks worked before I swapped out the door now nether one works.

I have a problem that I hope I can get an answer for. I had to replace the passenger side door with a used one , it seemed simple the hook ups look right the mirror and the door glass work but now no power locks, when I started the project both sides worked. 1996 Bronco is what I am working on...

Well I think I have solved the problem, we will see. I had a starter that was going bad so I installed a new one from Jeffs Bronco and in the prosses I found some wiring that was exposed , so I repaired and renewed these areas and so far no problems . We will see!

When this happens there is nothing no power at all it is dead. What i do not get is the clicking sound from behind the dash and nothing works at all?? No remote start

When I go to start the whole system electrically is shut down even the windows do not work I can not start it by jumping the Starter solenoid , it just is completely dead

No light that I have seen so if not then what is going on, when I have this problem I hear a clicking sound from behind the dash and I am at a loss as to what is going on??

1996 Bronco 5.8 Can the security system that shuts down all the power be disable for good I am having big problems with it when I started back using my keyless remote?

This may be a long shot but I had this happen about 4 months ago, I bought a good quality turn signal switch and plugged it in and no more problems? do not by the cheap ones!

I am in need of a complete ash try unit for my 1996 Bronco. I understand that the trucks of the same few years use the same. I need a dark blue unit or a contact to get one . Thanks

The fact that the engine runs smooth and no missing and fairly good gas mileage is just perplexing? Pulled plugs they all look great?

Thanks, I also did the ABS bypass but this was done awhile back and everything is working properly as the trans. is shifting and the speedo is working, I just do not under stand whats going on!

I am going to list this here and if anyone has anything I have not tried that may fix this, am tired of chasing this thing. Codes read as followed First screen,  Fault: 02       Pend:02 Then P0174 , 01/04 and 02/04 Then P0171P,  03/04 and 04/04 This is a simple code reader from Advance auto...

So at this point the braking is doing well. Now I have Lean codes its all ways something with this Bronco!!!!!!!!!

I have thought that the bearings may be it they are all new and when it pulls you can jab the brakes and it will straighten up for a wile ?  Calipers have been cleaned again and greased and the rear brakes have been adjusted. I guess its going to be a wild goose chase.

I have done the hoses the bearings and new calipers. When I checked the wheel temp the left was 240 and the right side was 180, I had the calipers rechecked and lubed and the rear adjusted and checked. Would the caliper with steel pistons have anything to do with it?  I guess when it starts up...

I am having problems with my 96 after I put reman. calipers with steel pistons it pulls to left after it gets hot, do I need to go back to OE calipers with the phinolic pistons, I have replaced the hoses as well.

Just a not I did the bypass and I still had to remove the ABS light in the dash and for some reason I got a Check Engine light so I had the clear to clear it the code reader said no codes?? Any way thank again for the help.
