I've got a '67 Bronco and i'm replacing the inline 6 with a 302. The problem i'm having is the angle seems to be wrong, either with the motor stands or the motor mounts.
When the motor stands are flush on the frame rails, i have a gap at the bottom of the motor mounts and the stud is in the middle of the slot, which won't allow the engine to be removed unless you take one of the motor mounts loose.
I left the engine attached to the trans and transfer case, so i could get the location to weld in the new motor stands.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
gilley
