If you have a problem water leaking into your floor or seen bottom of fenders rusting? This is what I done to fix the problem. You can look down into where your wiprer arms are and see the flow of water travel-as you follow it down-you will most likely see a trickle--which causes build up and later on . Your floor and front door post rusting out. What I done to cure it . Is I had enlarged the hole to about 1-1 1/2 inches. Now the water does not build up and it flows reall well. As you look behind the front tire-you will see a metal oblong plan=te about 1x3 inches long-take the plate off and you can see the really small exit hole---mine -you can see the big hole for water to flow. I have not had anymore problems getting into my floor buy water. It takes about 1 hour to correct both exit holes .Can save you money later on

I found that the water channel under the cowl had rotted (rusted)from debrise buildup in my 86 so I cleaned it and used rtv on both sides, also ran rtv along the length of the seem where the tub and cowl are welded (bonded). I have a problem with a 94 getting wet in the back but cant trace the leak.

How about adding a picture or two of the area.
