Lift blocks are used on the basic or standard lift kits, and lifted spring packs or add-a-leafa (AAL) are optional. Both are better than blocks in reducing axle wrap but add more cost to the kit. There's also the shackle flip mod, where you change the spring mount at the rear of the leaf springs, so the shackle hangs down instead of going up from the bracket. And quad shocks means that there are two shocks per wheel on the front vs the standard one shock per wheel. Welcome to Bronco Zone, JSM84

I say go with the Rough Country if money is tight or you don't think you need the extra travel of the kits that come with the extended radius arms. Also if your spring packs are worn as mine are( 212,000 miles and the previous owner actually used 4 by) The add a leaf or replacement springs are a smart move. It all basically comes down to what you need and what you are willing to spend.

If your going to do it, spend the extra and get the new leafs and stay away from blocks. The truck can probably use them anyway. The blocks are the most common but why do that when you can go higher quality. Just my opinion.

I did a superlift superrunner kit, and was going to do blocks but when I put them in the rear was sagging bad due to the high mileage of the truck...I did an AAL with the block and it was rough and still sagged....I finally bought a new lift leaf pack and the ride is great and it site great....As for Rough Country, not a big fan of their lifts but since you won't be doing a lot of offroading, you should be fine.
