The standard rear had a 3.55 ratio. THere should be a tag on your rear. That you could use to verify.I have a 1995 Ford Bronco XLT. I am looking to get a rear end rebuilt kit, does anyone know the gear ratio for it>?
Your question is not clear.thanks. the tag is all rusted out in the rear.. is it bad to upgrade the gear ratio in the back and not the front?
Here are two threads that are informative about rears.Your question is not clear.
The front and rear ratios need to be the same.
You may rebuild the rear, and not the front, or vise versa.
You may change the rear ratio now, and then change the front later, however while you have two different gear ratios, you CAN NOT use 4X4.
Depends upon what you want to do with your truck and what size tires you want to go with.which gear ratio would be better 4.10 or 4.56, dropping in a crate motor and bigger tires?
