If i try and accelerate fast it hesitates and bogs right down, once i lift my foot off the gas and apply pressure slowly it is not quite as bad. I replaced the fuel filter and took it for a test drive and I thought i had fixed the problem as i could give it full throttle without hesitation. Then i parked it and the next time I drove it the problem had returned. Any ideas as to what it might be?

Hello, Hello, I have to say its not cool when this happens, I went for a few weeks completely stumped as to what was causing this to happen to my truck I have the same truck as you, and it was acting the same way I was sad to see that you hadn't had a response It would have saved me a ton of money and inconvenience, so heres something that hopfully will help to narrow things down... have your fuel pressure regulator checked, that was my problem, simple but it'll do it. I hope that helps, I can tell you a few other possibilies but the regulator would be a good place to start.

same thing happens with my '88 2WD 5speed

my brother says my truck's an old man, and that i should drive it like an old man.

maybe i'm flooding the engine?

anyways, i've been driving it like an old man and i guess it's working.

im going to check the o2 censor and so on. . .

can you all list any other possibilities of what it might be?
