For your vaccum advance you want very little if any vaccum at all at idle and sucks harder as you rev up. Unplug that line at the dist and stick it on your tongue to feel the suction, then if it doesnt **** keep it on your tongue and hit the throttle, if its correct it will **** fairly hard. The second picture, if I remember correctly goes to your air cleaner, if you have chosen the correct line for the dist and you are not using the stock air cleaner just block this off. To test if your vaccum advance works, **** on the vaccum line at the carb end, you should be able to **** it wide open if it works proper.

The one on the left is the EGR vacuum input and the one on the right is a main vacuum port on the vacuum tree.

The one under the carb right side appears to be another main vac tap off the EGR spacer under the carb. Sometimes the PCV valve is connected here, it could also be connected at the back of the carb.

Yes that is right
The unused ones can be plugged off.

I also see the evaporative emissions port on top of the carb, that would go to the carbon canister via some other stuff. What carb is that? Holley 2150?

Good luck,

:)>-

The metal tube on top of the float bowl? Thats just a vent, you can leave it. Dont plug it whatever you do. The one on the EGR are dead lines, they should be fine. Its been a long time since I had a carb so check just to be 100% with the engine running, if there is any suction and you have nothing to hook up, plug it off. You want no lines unplugged or your fuel mileage will **** and your engine will run like crap. Except the metal one as I stated before, dont plug that one just leave it. Test your vaccum advance Like I said before as well and you should be good

Yup! I believe the 2150 2BBL was built by Holley for Motorcraft, then I could be wrong ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> , but in any event it is a 2150 and it came stock on some engines. He is also right that the line on the right side of the center picture comes from the carb. I don't have the information at my finger tips right now, but I believe that port was for altitude compensation to adjust the mixture. Also, the PCV valve has a connection at the back of the carb near the bottom, (larger than a normal vacuum port connection).

Yardtape was right, I was too broad with my plug off statement. Do not plug off the bowl vent.
