Do you need the headliner or just the backer board and you will recover it yourself?

I saw one listed on facebook in one of the bronco pages.

If your backer board is good, some spray adhesive and a local hobby lobby or joann fabrics and easy fix.

I think the board is good. I'll check FB, too - thanks for the tip! Do you just scrape the old foam headliner from the board?

Yes, pull the material off, scrape as much of the foam off as you can.

Get spray adhesive, most parts store have it.

Lay out your new material, Start at one end, follow the directions on the adhesive, spray both cardboard and material. Let sit and then put them together.

Repeat, work in sections across the board.

I looked on this one section where the headliner meets the windshield and it's already coming down. All I could see was yellow insulation - same as the insulation that is under the hood. Couldn't see cardboard backing. Is it possible I don't have cardboard backing or should I just keep ripping until I see it?

I suppose it is possible, I just remember seeing a guy on facebook selling the cardboard backer for the B2 headliner. Maybe different year?

But yeah that yellow stuff you are seeing, what is it attached to?

It's attached to the roof so no cardboard. Just old, yellow fiberglass insulation with a thin layer of colored foam glued to it on the interior side. I'm thinking of just pulling it all down and starting from scratch.
