Hey all.......just need to know if anyone can tell me where to find the Solenoid, and the Engine Block Ground on my 1986 Bronco? It's a full size with the 5.8L. Thanks a lot in advance!

OK, if you mean the starter solinoid, it is mounted under the hood on the passenger side fender. It is the one that the positive battery cable is attached to. The other terminal is attached to your starter. There is also a small lead connected to a small post which goes to the start switch which applies 12 v to to activate the solinoid.

The engine block is grounded to two places. You will find the negative terminal of the battery with a large black cable. It goes to a bolt on your engine block. The other one is a small cable from the engine block to the firewall. It attaches to an intake manafold bolt ant a grounding type ***** on the firewall.

Hope this helps.

Good luck,

:)>-

Got the Ol' girl started.......It was a small link to the starter Solenoid that had come loose. It was a small orange wire that was attached to a post on the solenoid.

Thanks!
