I carry a high lift for off road and a little bottle jack for on road. I use a breaker bar with a socket on it for a lug wrench

For daily driving, I carry the stock jack with a block of wood to make up for the added axle height from the 35" tires. When on the trails, I carry a hi-lift. Like Noahsdad, I carry a breaker bar, 6" extension, and socket for a lug wrench.

Edit:

The 4 foot long handle for the stock jack stays in the stock location under the hood, I keep the rest of the stuff in a canvas bag in the rear area along with a few basic tools (example-extra serpentine belt and a 15mm socket) 'cause you just never know.

Man, you sure do trust your rig a lot more than I do mine. I don't go anywhere without a freaking 8-drawer chest. Changing a damn seal in the bank parking lot is a whole bunch easier :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah I have a tuffy box from walmart just packed full of craftsmen tools. Full socket set, wrenches SAE and Met. Hammer, hacksaw, tire plug, slime, air compressor. Fan belts, Lineman Pliers, 2 pairs slip joint pliers. Everything I can carry with plus oil, brake fluid, water/coolant. I have used most of these tools on the trail..... everytime I go out I come back home and buy another tool to keep in the Bronco

I only travel lite around town to save weight and space. Plus there is less stuff for the crack head thugs in Killeen to steal if they break into it. If anything major happens in town, I can have AAA drag it home for me. When I go on a long trip or anytime I go wheeling, I carry a tuffbox full of tools and parts just like the rest of you.
