Haha hot topic!!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Nah, it's cake with 2 people, takes a minute max.

With one person it's a bit precarious and like he said hard to balance.

I can do it by myself, but I always grab a 2nd just in case.

I just picked up my Bronco a couple months back and this is one of the first things I did. Getting the bolts out was the hard part (had to cut a few) then it is just awkward to get off by yourself....to help this, I made a rack system in my garage...basically, I can back up to it, pull the bolts and clamps off inside the cap, and then slide it back onto the rack...looks like a big shelf made just for the roof...sits at the same height as the bronco so it just slides on back...then when I need it back on, I just back into the garage again, and slide it back on the truck....

makes for a nice easy, one-man operation...lol

I was going to make an elaborate lift and pulley system...but this seemed so much easier and took alot less time...I will take pics next time I pull the top off to show you guys...

Yes it is but if you have not done it before I would grab some help. The top weighs about #150 so it is not to much weight to lift but the damn thing is huge. 2 people really have no problem. And after a couple of times to get familier with the balance of the thing using your back and shoulders to move it around is not to bad. I would still use help if it is around, but since I went soft 4 years ago I have not put it back on.

I think you made your point  LOL

Seriously.. DANG... what happened?
