ultra deluxe 41/2 inch lift from bronco graveyard

I'm looking to lift my bronco and I seen through broncograveyard.com that this is a decent lift, I mean it comes with the bushing, full leaf springs, new coils, u bolts adjustable, trac-bar, extended brake lines, drop radius arm brackets, and a drop pitman arm.

Besides the shocks not coming with it, will I need to buy anything else? Does anyone have any pros and cons against this lift? and How hard is this to install..

I want to put 35s on it and want to be able to go off roading with it, nothing major. No rock crawling or anything.. I guess mostly for show. If anyone has any input about this lift or another lift that I might be interested in feel free to let me know.. Thanks

YEs, the link works. Superlift makes a good kit, just need to ask yourself if you really need the new rear springs, or can get by with the stock ones and a lift block/ AAL/ shackle flip. IF you are gettting new rear springs, look at the kit with the Deaver packs for a bit more. It's not too hard to install, main problem will be removing rusty bolts. I thtink my 79 F-150 has a 3" Skyjacker lift with a 3" body, and the 35" BFG MT's fit fine. I got the truck with a NIB 9" Skyjacker kit, which includes new shocks. IF you're going to buy new shocks, that will add about $160-$180, so figure that when comparison shopping. You can also go to Superlift's Scratch & Dent store on ebay, and get their shocks for $9. I'm running those on the 84 Bronco and the 78, too. JSM84

Well I'd like to get new rear springs because mine sit alittle flat right now. The truck is from Arizona so there isn't much rust on the truck at all. That should help me out a lot. I'm not familiar with lifts that much, but what are deaver blocks? Looking for shocks at that point I would just look for a shock that is fitted for a 4 inch lift or do I have to look for ones that are specifically for a 41/2 in lift?...

This is the kit iwas refering to, with the Deaver spring packs. Major difference in ride over the regular Superlift spring packs due to the total number of leaves and the load rate of the packs. They onyl run about $100 more for the Deavedr springs, if you figure $200 for the four shocks. Both of these kits are 4", not 4-1/2". JSM84

Is there any modification in the driveshafts that will need to be done? Or is there anything else I would need to do, or is it pretty straight up such as installing the new parts and getting it aligned?

For a 4" lift, you should not need to extend the driveshafts. you will need to check the angles at the axles so you don't break the u-joints. most kits will have the correct shim or block for that, but you might need a different one withh the angles for your rig. I've found that you can get as little as 3" up to 5" from a 4" lift kit, depending onthe condition of your suspension parts that are or are not replaced. That has to be determined after the install of the kit. JSM84

thanks for the help. I plan on getting everything that I need ordered up soon hopefully, and then proceed to install it. I can't wait until its done. thanks again
