Turbo mufflers

I was wondering how many of you guys are runnin turbo mufflers? And what

you guys think about them? I am getting ready to start my exhaust system

and was also wondering what brands are good. I am looking for something

that sounds good but I dont want it to give me a headache. Any bit of

information would be most helpful, i dont really know to much about exaust

related topics.

what type of turbos are you talking about. chamber or glasspacks. I had glass pack turbo mufflers on my 289 powered 80 mustang and the fiberglass packing burned out after a month, it sounded awsome but the neighbours didn't like me to much. I could as well ran straight pipes to get the same thing.

I have run both the chambered & glass packs. I blew the baffling out of the glass packs and it was "cool" sounding for about a year. My voice went out when ever I had a passenger with me cause you had to yell to hear yourself over the mufflers. People always knew it was me and when ever I went through a rough neighborhood, I would give it gas before I slowed down and it would backfire so loud is sounded like a cannon going off...lol. I now run the chambered and I love them. Good tone, good breathing and the best thing is that I can actually TALK to the person next to me.
