when im driving and say im in second gear going into third ill be running about 2k or so then when it switches into third it goes down to so low of an rpm that it wont pull or anything. it will kick down to like 11 or 1200 rpms. it does that alot. then when i give it gas to get those rpms up when im in that gear it takes forever to catch up. unless i dump it. any suggestions on ehat it could be. i recently cut my second cat off. i still have one. could i not have backpressure?

help

When it does that shift it manually into 2nd gear this will test to see if its a line pressure issue or not if it takes right off the tranny may have a sticking solenoid if it makes no difference then it may just be time for a rebuild on the tranny . The E4OD is completely electrically controlled but if you put it in 1st or 2nd manually it is in like a built in limp mode where it will move without the electrical . Also whne these trannies get squishy when they go into overdrive the torque convertor must be changed . The overdrive clutch is in the toque convertor . Maybe youll get lucky and it will be a bad electrical connection there are 2 plugs on the drivers side of the tranny on top of pan a grey and a black unplug them and inspect for corrosion :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
