Transmission Dipstick Tube Leaking

I believe the Dipstick Tube on the Automatic Transmission is leaking. Is there a seal in there? how do i stop this leak???

I'm trying to remember but i dont think there's a seal just try and tighten up the nut on tube. you can try using teflon tape, but i'm not sure how that will work.

When I had my C4 pan fill tube removed from the pan, there was no seal, o-ring or gasket there. If you use teflon be careful it doesn't come apart, mix with the fluid and get into the trans. I would agree with attempting to tighten the nut first, but not too tight so the threads strip!
