hey does any one know how to wire a tach?i got a sunpro from the junkyard but just cut the wires and didnt trace them to see where they went.

The should be wires to hook one up behind your gauges. Ford just left them there if they didn put a tach in from the factory.

I recently pulled the old Sunpro tach out of my 86 Bronco to put in the 84. There's 4 wires:

Green - to coil

Red - 12v power

black - ground

white - gauge lights
