stock glass

Ive changed my windshield frame, and want to know if I should use my old original glass, its in perfect shape. the trucks a 73, is it safty glass?? Any danger in using the old glass?

The old glass is fine to use and will not explode. The old ones work the same as the new ones. I kinda thought the same thing in a quick instance as a huge branch hit the windshield after it got hung up on the rig in front of me. It hit so hard I thought it was going to cut my throat out. But the glass just cracked all over like it should. :-"
