Check the axle code on the Safety Compliance sticker located on the driver side rear post. List the number here and someone can tell you what that equates to. Also there should be a tag attached to one of the differential bolts which also has the gear ratio listed on it. ex. 355 would indicate 3.55 open diferential and a 3L55 would indicate a 3.55 with limited slip.

As Seabronc has posted, you should check the sticker AND the axle ID tags for the ratio. Two common options for the 94 Bronco were 3.08 and 3.55. Often times, the bolt holding the tag to the axle cover bolt will hide the first number of the code, so the bottom line of numbers may read something like " L55 8 8 ..." for the 3.55 w/ L/S Ford 8.8" axle.

Also offered was factory limited slip in the rear Ford 8.8".
