Steering wheel squeak

I changed the steering wheel in my EB and every since it has made an almost unbearable squeaking noice on every movement. I bought a steering whee and all the guts that came with itl made for an EB and followed the instruction that came with it. It is nerve wracking to say the least!

is the squeek coming from the steering wheel or the shaft? You might try spraying some silicone spray on the steering shaft, or you might have to repack the bearing at the bottom of the steering column right up by the firewall.
