steering Colunms

I have a 75 EB with power steering that needed a new steering colunm. I found one on E-bay and brought it. Now I find that it is about 2 inches shorter than the colunm I took out. Is there a fix for this problem other tan getting a different colunm? Also, is the length in colunm due to power steering vs. manual steering?

Thanks for the help. I am new to broncos. I have run VW and Corvair sand rails for about ten years and want to get into something more universal/

You might want to talk to Toms Bronco parts, -or- Wild horses .....they can help you out.

Prob. just need a "telescoping" lower shaft.
