My dad and I have pretty much rebuilt my 86 Bronco II, but It wouldn't start one day, so I looked at the starter and it was hanging on by one bolt. I got a new starter and bolts put them on and it still grinds after a few starts and just spins.
I was told that it might be the flywheel, but the teeth look fine, no chips, a couple scrapes. I am looking for other solutions besides taking the tranny out and replacing the flywheel.
Thanks for your help!
Matt
