Just rebuilt the carb, now it starts right up and idles great. But when you go to run it, it feels like it doesn't have enough power and then it stalls....

Fuel pump has a small leak by the diaphram, you think that could be the cause?

Please help, any ideas, point please...thanks

"Fuel pump has a small leak by the diaphram,"

Leakage is not a good thing....& may well be the problem.

If, after correcting this., it still stumbles., re-examine your accelerator pump.

Some fuels tend to make these swell & flip upside-down.

Also double check your float level & inlet needle valve Debris may have come up the line from a failing fuel pump.

Sometimes debris will get caught in the fuel pump check-valve creating no., or low fuel press.

I think its the carb.

I did rebuild it and tried to seal up a leak on the shaft...idled well...

Been busy working the past weeks, this week we're goin to attack this problem again!

I really wana show the bronco round...got some nice wheels and tires...

If you mean the main throttle shaft...air leakage there would create an irratic idle more than anything., if at all.

Not a priority.

Let's see, if it idles and revs when not in gear, but won't pull (do real work), then I'd suspect (but god knows there are other possible variables):

1) Too lean (defective fuel pump, low float, too small or clogged jets, vaccum leak)

2) Too rich- choke stuck closed?

3) Timing- advance not working or initial set too ********?
