If i get a edlebrock performer for my 351 h.o do i need to get a square bore to a spread bore adapter or is it just recommended? Also is there anything besides the throttle cable and kickdown cable that need to be changed or made to work with a kit that edlebrock sells?

Your Bronco's stock intake should also be a "square bore" hole for the stock carb. UNless you have an aftermarket intake. The Performer intake I bought for mine is a stock replacement, and the OEM Holley fits right up. I usually think of QuadraJet carbs when a spreadbore is mentioned. That's on Chevy's and a few old Mustangs.
