I currently have a Fast Trac bikini top on my '74 Bronco. It has the small riser on the top of the windshield and the drop wiper motor bracket installed. I'm considering going with a full convertible top and would like to get some user opinions as to which top is better.
Is the Fast Trac or Bestop soft track the better choice for a full top? From what I can see from the catalogs the Fast Trac has a lower windshield height that appears to look better than the Bestop which has a higher windshield height. One advantage with the Bestop I believe is that you can leave the wiper motor in it's original location and use the plastic trim cover from the old hard top.
Does one of the tops seal out weather better than the other? Do the zip in/out windows work better with one versus the other? Does one fit better than the other and have less wrinkles etc? Which one looks better?
I'd appreciate hearing your opinions and experience about the full convertible top.
Bernie
