Sheetmetal - need a measurenent please

Hi I'm replacing the windshield support on my 74. I ordered the new piece from JBG and it is almost 1/2" Longer than the old one. The new one is 60", the old one is about 59-9/16". I know mine has been cut apart before, somebody replaced the door posts. Could someone please run a tape measure across right under the windshield hinge and post the measurement you come up with?

my 73 measures 59 13/16"

my 74 measures 59 15/16"
