HI All,

I cracked my bell housing when dropping the tranny to replace my clutch. My bell housing is # C5TA-6394-A. The replacement I found is # C5EA-6394-A.

Are these compatible? The pictures I've taken look the same as the replacement. However, I've learned that looks can often be deceiving:)

Thanks Bronco Brothers!

Hi 'bug..!

My spare V/8 "bell" is marked "D1TA 6394 AA"

Seems they're all the same (289-302-351) except.... some are;

"Tab style" some are "Wire-bale style" --- refering to the clutch fork needed. i.e. fork needs to match bell housing.

--- How funy... actually., I had a coil go out on our last trip into the desert.. :eek: /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

It quit., then re-fired & quit two more times, while limping back to the home garage.

"Almost" had to be towed (dare I say it.?) by a "J-E-E-P" .. :blush:

My neighbors would never have let me live that down... :D/
