Rearend

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on taking the guts out of a 1995 bronco rearend and putting them in a 1987 rearend housing. I am wanting to know if this is possible and any good tips if so.

I think the '92 and up trucks went to speed density, whereas the previous models only used a speedometer gear in the transfer case. There will be your main difference. Do a little research on that, it may be cheaper to rebuid the '87 rearend or swap it out completely.
