I recently bought a 66 bronco that had a half-cab top on it. i've taken the half-cab top off and am putting a full top on it. the bronco has bucket seats in the front, but no seat in the back. i was wondering if there were any seats i could pull out of another vehicle to put in as the back seat?

Hi Dane..., welcome..,

"....pull out of another vehicle to put in as the back seat?"

Ahhhh..., I've seen this B/4 & it looked like something out of the "Beverly Hillbillies" :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Do yourself two favors 1). put in the correct seat (orig. or aftermarket) that belongs in there.. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Several of the EB suppliers have them...some folks sell theirs.

2). Fill in your info./profile,/signature pages on this board, in order to get speedy & correct help.... :D/

Sounds like you're off to a good start.... enjoy.... B)

When I got my eb it had a Beard double bucket seat, worked well for a long time with harnesses and such. There are lots of other offroad type "bench" seating avil after market. But if your offroad on the cheap like me take measurements and go too the wreckin yard. I had a s10 chev pickup and put rear volkswagen shirako "spelling" seats in the rear of the bed under the camper for friends and such, otherwise the factory stuff could cost $$$$ to make it factory issue and bolt in. I would just google rear race seats and find some thing new or hunt your local C list and maybe find one used and cheap

BBB Or just buy my old double bucket and have it rehabed or just buy a new seat cover from Beard

A mid to late 80's Mitsubishi Montero or Dodge Raider seat will fit perfectly in there. It is also a fold & tumble rear seat. It folds forward to lean up against the front seats. The only thing you are going to have to do is fab up a seat bracket & put in the lock mechanism for it. If I remember right, it also comes with headrests.
