Rear Antilock

Hey guys. My rear antilock light has been on for a year and I wasn't really sure what it was, but the back brakes felt a little weak. I got new drums and shoes months ago, but I just havn't gotten around to putting them on. Finally, a wheel cylinder started leaking, so I went ahead and replaced both rear cylinders, shoes, and drums and bled everything. But now my antilock light is still on. Is the light for something else like the diff? I wouldn't know that my b2 had antilock brakes if the light weren't there. Whenever I brake hard, they'll lock up, but I havn't had to brake hard since I put on the new brakes. Any suggestions?

i have an 89 b2 mine started doing the same thing about 6 months ago when i hit the brakes realy hard and the brake light came on too, some times they will go off but if i hit the brakes kinda hard they will be back on again and like you i did not know they were anti lock... try a code reader to see if it will help

i have an 89 bronco with the same problem, its the speed sensor in ym rear, if yours has that, check that out, its located on the top center of the rear basically and has a plug going into it

thanks dude, i saw that when i was looking into my trany problem, i will check to see if the parts store has one and let you know how it goes.
