poly tank vents

my poly tanks have the 2 vents at the very top of the tank(main tank) what is the correct way to run these hoses and how long should they be? when I fill my tank I get leakage, more so up hill.

Hay 73..,

I'm thinking you mean on the driver side, on the side of the tank.., at the top. (two tubes side by side) ?

(I haven't seen any on the top...)

The "venting" is handled by the 1 inch (approx.) tube/hose next to the filler hose. It runs up to the filler neck.

The two (small) tubes you're refering to...one is to the evap. canister. (if it's still there) The other (I believe) is for a return line.

You can plug them both (assuming you don't have EFI) .., if your main vent hose is in place.

Check me on that..., Wild Horses has an aftermarket EFI tank with supply & return on the "top" of the tank.

(Evap., filler., & vent are on the driver "side" as usual.)
