alright my truck is running pretty crappy and i dont know why.here is the sit.-idle:sucks,shifting:sucks, when im at a stop the moter has a shity idle and some times starts to **** forward then stops and keeps doing it until ether it dies or i go.also when i take off i have no exeleration and it bogs down like it had a carb in it that was bad or something. have no clue what the **** is going on.new parts-engine(8000 miles),injecters(1200 miles),wires,plugs,fuel filter,batt,starter,altinater.last time it did this the wires were bad but these ones are fine.please tell me this has happend to one of you and it was an easy fix or you atleast know what it is!

I would start by pulling diagnostic codes...

that sounds a lot like what one of my cars did when the cat converter was clogged. i'm by no means a guru on mechanics just a thought.

it could be so many things really. I would do just as joe said and pull the codes. just because your parts are new does'nt mean you can rule them out as the problem, or part of the problem.

It could be a severly clogged fuel filter, could be tfi, coil or something to do with your distributor. It could be emission related. If your egr was stuck open and allowing exhaust gas to recirculate all the time it might cause a similar problem. could be the catalytic convertor. It could be a little bit of all of them. It could also be as simiple as a wiring problem. I say simple, but they are the hardest to track down sometimes.

Check the codes and get back to us.

My Bronco was doing that coming from pick-n-pull down va beach blvd right before military highway I blew the **** fuse for my fuel pump. It was weird, would do exactally as you're saying but it had power after like 2200 RPM or so?

Couldn't tell you if you do or don't but if you do it'll be under the hood on the driver side to the rear of the air box in a ********* box. If you don't have one of those then I'm not sure? But after it blew completely I was stuck pushing it to the AAA tow place on va beach. Not to hard to push though?

by the way i got those nerf bars on after drilling the holes.....dont think it was worth it.looks good but its like tring to jump in my truck before i had them,there not realy functional
