ok last week i found and bought a 78

what i know the owner was the farmer who owened the land

came with a 351 but its long gone

more less rust free ie no rust in place that cant be simply replaced.

tubs straight

now for bad news no motor trans or rear axel and all thing electrical

.i what to make a hunting recon truck

im a professional dangerous game hunter. ( i hunt game that posses a intament threat live stock)

.i will need a full cage and air comp set up

.a sheet metal bumper that can i can put a winch

.areas to store guns ammo radios and antenna

.lift to fit 35

and a FI 302 450+ hp

i need help with tech and finding the bumpers mainly

I may have a solution for the bumper issue, try bjsoffroad.com

The motor and trans could be tough because a stock 1990 302 puts out only about 185 hp. You may want to look at a diesel or a 460 ci.

thanks for the tip it look like ther mainly for jeeps but from what i know about jeep i think i can make it work if i welld up some new mounts

as for the motor i think i sake svo block and build me one that hit 450 easy

hey here is a qestion are any roof racks made for the 78 or do i need to weld me one up

You could weld up the roof rack. That way it is customized to your needs, but be careful not to put too much weight on the roof or things could turn bad fast.

a good idea for your bronco would be to add a roof rack that way you could add both reverse hellas and front hellas and you could also have mountg for your anteanna and spare gear.
