It's a 1986 Bronco 5.0 EFI. It seems to be stock with 16,663 miles showing on the odometer. So probably 116k or 226k? I've replaced some components on it that are obviously not factory so it's been worked on. Before I go through all the trouble of replacing the oil pump, where is the oil pressure sensor? Any additional info on this subject would be appreciated. TY

I believe the sensor is right next to the oil filter.

Can't remember for sure but right above it maybe. Might want to put a manual gauge on it at least for now for testing it. The factory gauges are not really gauges, more of a switch. An idiot light with the feel of a gauge.

If you find low pressure you can look at doing an oil pump but you will really need to replace rod and main bearings if you want to increase pressure.
