Will the seats from a new Chevy van fit in an EB? I can pick some up for $75 each from a van conversion shop. They look like they would fit to me but with this great resource it would be dumb not to ask.

Thanks.

I had van seats in my rig....they sat to high & cut vision at top of windshield.

Junked them for Toyota Cilica (spell) seats $25 at bone yard. Thay sat lower, very comfortable, & back is adjustable.

Made my own mounting adaptors.

Real sheepskins over them & good for summer or winter.

I've tried the junk yard route but I live in Southern California and to find anything worth using you would have to be there the moment the vehicle comes off the tow truck. Even then you might have to shoot your way out. When you say the van seats sat too high was that because of the seat thickness or the mounting system?

Maybe I'll load up the shotgun and check out pick-a-part.

Thanks.

---"because of the seat thickness or the mounting system?"---

Both...

Where your ass plants, ...the van seat was 3-4" higher...ruining view front & side.

My toy seats (where your butt hits) are approx. 5-6" above the floor flat area.

(could be the "newer" vans have diff. seats) Oh..! I'm speaking of a full size van....not a mini.
