need help with dimensions

I have to transport a 79 Bronco hood and rear window glass from NY to FL.

Since I am in NY and my Bronco is in Florida and the parts are in NJ, can anyone tell me the sizes of these 2 parts? I need to make sure my transport vehicle can carry them. Thanks.

I'm not sure of the exact dimension, but they both will fit in the back of my Bronco. The hood has to go in sideways.

Thanks for the response. I guess I didn't make myself clear. I'm traveling without my Bronco. I am in a small SUV and need to get the dimensions of these parts to see if I can bring them home with me. I haven't committed to buying them yet. I wanted to be sure about the sizes first.

If you have a 78 or 79 Bronco, can you measure your rear window and just tell me the width from left to right?

That would help me a lot

The hood on my bronco is about 77 inches wide (fender to fender) by 45 inches long (from cowl to grille). I took a guestemit on the rear window because it is up but it should help you if your still looking. 60 inches wide from left to right and about 22 inches tall from top to bottom.

since you have not comitted to buying it yet why don't you come by Allentown PA. on your way home and buy mine? i have the hood and the glass your looking for. just a suggestion... by the way, what are you driving back to fla. in?
