Went to Long Ranch near Llano, TX on Labor Day weekend. Had originally planned to go Padre Island for some beach wheeling/camping but with Gustav approaching, we though it was a better idea to go someplace a little closer to home (Killeen, TX) and further away from the ocean. Everyone had a lot of fun, a few broke their toys. We had no less than four broken axles, including Gregs white CUCV. I guess that new 454 is just too strong for those 10 bolt axles. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I took a lot of photos. I'll post a few here, but you can see

all of them on my supermoters page ==> http://www.supermotors.net/vehicles/registry/16280/65914 I also got some videos, the thumbnails at the very end are links to them.

Here is Greg demonstrating how to make a 6000 lbs truck do a headstand.

yes, I just registered this morning for the event out at Long's Ranch. Will prolly run the 78 Bronco, unless i somehow get the 84 going. It still needs driveshafts, bumpers and rock sliders, plus welding the rollcage back in. JSM84

Well, I don't have the videos ready yet, but here are some photographs:

My buddy, Mike, and I camped at the ranch: (JSM84 decided to woose out and stay at the luxurious "Saddle Back Motel" in nearby Richland Springs)

100_0653.jpg

They had an RTI ramp there: (first time I've put the Beast on one of those)

100_0657.jpg

100_0658.jpg

100_0659.jpg

Of course, they have rocks there:

100_0660.jpg

JSM84 brought one of his Broncos:

100_0661.jpg

Wouldn't be a wheeling trip without some Jeeps:

100_0670.jpg

I broke my Bronco on some of those above mentioned rocks and had to ride with JSM84 the rest of the day:

100_0672.jpg

100_0676.jpg

100_0677.jpg

100_0680.jpg

He was even nice enough to let me drive some after I broke mine:

100_0690.jpg

Our friend from another forum (Skittles) brought his Bronco as well:

100_0684.jpg

100_0687.jpg

100_0693.jpg

100_0694.jpg

Jeep suffered a little carnage:

100_0697.jpg

Although his was not near as bad as mine:(never seen one break this was before)

100_0775.jpg

also ruined spindle and spindle bearings:

100_0772.jpg

Took out my Warn Premium as well when in let go. Sorry no pic of the hub

Of course there were other festivities at night: (JSM84 and me)

100_0706.jpg

Don't know these guys, but I think they've had enough of the good old Lone Star Beer:

100_0722.jpg

Found this guy face down in the dirt next to fire on Sunday morning: (temperature was about 45* overnight)

100_0770.jpg

Here is video of me breaking the left front axle: (all I've uploaded so far, more to follow)

Great pics, Randy. I never seem to get many good ones of my own rig, I'm always holding the camera myself and taking pictures of everyone elses stuff. I've got more videos that I'm working on uploading, including a few clips of your Bronco in the creek-bed.

I think I sold roadkill on those PRP Racing suspension seats (just look at the big smile on his face!!!):

100_0690.jpg

Don't know about the manual tranny, though, but he had no trouble getting up the ledge in 2nd/4Lo.
