Lights a flickerin

The instrument lights, headlights and amp guage flicker all the time, but it gets worse at higher rpm? Dont have the budget now for a new harness. Seems like a bad ground, but where. Any ideas ?

Yeah, mine did that until I repalced the battery to a Optima yellow top. Maybe it was a bad ground and when cleaning it cleared it up. Not sure but I bet if you unhook and clean up the terminals at all points it will help.

Also make sure the engine is grounded well. Some batteries connect to the engine then most connect a ground from the engine to the body. Thats fine as long as the body is grounded to the frame.
